IRONMAN FRANCE

Ironman France in Nice is most likely the most spectacular destination for any triathlon, especially if you are interested in combining a sensational holiday with your Ironman race.

If ever there was a stunningly beautiful destination for an athletic event, this is one Ironman that would have to be near the top of the list.

Nice, France pretty much locates you right in the heart of several other fascinating destinations that you can take in before or after your Ironman adventure. In one direction, a mere 20 km journey will take you to Monaco. In the other, you will end up at the Film Festival in Cannes.

The Cote d'Azur (French Riviera) has stunning beaches and provides a spectacular setting for your Ironman swim.

There are many great bike courses in world of Ironman and when you get out of the warm waters of the Riviera you will soon find yourself on one of the most sensational of all.

You will have great scenery, hilly challenges, and biking experience you will never forget.

The four laps of the run course will follow the beach-front and provides a stunning backdrop for the marathon.

It just might ease your pain a little and get you to the finish line where you can expect tons of pageantry, lots of spectators cheering you on, and even fire-works.

HERE IS THE CONTACT INFORMATION YOU WILL NEED IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THIS EVENT.

Ray,

"I just completed my first Ironman in St. George, UT. Your book, Ironstruck - 500 Ironman Questions and Answers, was invaluable in preparing me to get to the finish line. I didn't get any surprises during the race, thanks to the info you provided in your book.

Also, your advice about pushing big gears over the tops of hills to gain more speed going down was spot on. I made the bike cut-off in large part to this advice.

Thanks again for a great book and insight!"

hi Ray,

"About 5 years ago just moved from Holland to SA Port Elizabeth I was a spectator of Ironman SA and said to myself I want to do such an event myself onetime.Looking for more info I came across Ironstruck and had a lot of pleasure in reading your stories and I want to compliment you the way you describe these. I also wrote you an email asking you some questions and got response. I know its years ago but I just want to tell you that this year I finished the 70.3 East London 7.10 hrs and Ironman SA 13:10 hrs.And will do it next year again and 12.5 hrs will be my goal.rgds Cees"
