GIFTS FOR WOMEN TRIATHLETES FOR THEIR TRIATHLON RACING AND TRAINING

There are many cool gifts for women triathletes that will be amazingly useful to them.

TRIATHLON BOOKS

When I first became a triathlete back in 1983, there were no books at all on the subject of triathlon. Nobody had written one yet because the sport was so new.

At the moment, I would say that triathlon books that would motivate, inspire, and provided the triathlete in your life with training and racing tips would be a great gift.

Information on how to train, how to avoid injury, how to actually take part in a race, what supplements are best, and what equipment is best are just some of a few questions that a triathlete needs to find answers to before even beginning training.

My books are not training books but are books compiled from my experiences over the past 30+ years of endurance events including over 35 marathons and 14 Ironman Triathlons.

A good triathlon coach will get you to the start line, and my three triathlon books will help get you to the finish line.

My books are available at my Ironstruck book store and all you have to do is click on one of the books on the right hand side of this page.

KOBO BOOKS

Use of book "reader's" is becoming very popular and all you will also find a link to Kobe on the top right hand side of this page.

Kobo is the online version of Indigo books. All my triathlon books are available in E-pub format at excellent prices.

Why not buy your favorite triathlete a book reader and download my triathlon books onto it for them? That would be a very unique and helpful gift.

TOTAL IMMERSION--THE PERFECT SWIM TECHNIQUE FOR TRIATHLETES

Whether one is new to triathlon or has dreams of taking on the Ironman Triathlon, the swim is often one of the biggest concerns for many people.

For learning how to pace oneself and relax in the triathlon swim "Total Immersion" is most likely one of the best swimming concepts available for triathletes.

Buying a "Total Immersion" swim tape or book as one of the gifts for triathletes in your life will greatly improve their swim technique.

TOTAL IMMERSION is offering all ironstruck visitors a 10% discount on Books, DVD's, and all other TI teaching tools.

Simply click on this linktotalimmersion.net/store/go to the store page and type ironstruck(all small case)into the shopping cart coupon box and you receive your 10% discount automatically.

FITNESS CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Do you know where your triathlete works out? If you do, a fitness club membership would be something she has to buy anyway and would most likely be much appreciated.

GEAR BAG

A triathlon gear "transition bag" is ideal for use in the transition area when a triathlete is carrying their gear to the start of the race.

A triathlon gear bag is especially handy when they are finished a race like an Ironman that involves lots of racing clothing and equipment. You could even put an assortment of gifts in the transition bag and wrap the bag up with the other gifts in it!

IRONMAN WATCH

A good triathlon watch is a very necessary piece of equipment and would be a great gift for women triathletes or any triathlete for that matter.

Although their are many watches that have the same triathlon-focused functions, there is something special about a "Timex Ironman Triathlon Watch".

After all, Timex Watches was one of the very first sponsors of the original Ironman Triathlon in Kona, Hawaii. It would rank near the top of special gifts for women triathletes.

HEART MONITOR

A heart rate monitor is a great piece of technology that enables athletes to train and race within their physical limitations without over-stressing themselves. This makes a heart-monitor an ideal tool for preventing over-use injuries.

Here is a complete set that will be a huge help in getting the most from your training. Click on the product image for complete information on what is included in the package.

If used properly and on a regular basis, a heart-rate monitor can be instrumental in helping the woman triathlete in your life realize her triathlon goals.

Heart-rate monitors come with many different options. You can top dollar for a heart-rate monitor that has all the bells and whistles and will inter-face with a computer, or you can buy a basic heart-rate monitor for under one hundred dollars.

For the majority of triathletes a basic heart-rate monitor will do nicely and it has the advantage of being very uncomplicated and easy to use.

QUICK CHANGE TRI BAG

This is a great way of keeping all your gear organized on race day.

HAVE A READER? DOWNLOAD MY TRIATHLON BOOKS ON KOBO.

If you enjoy using a book "reader" then visit Kobo Books and you will find all my books available at excellent download prices under $9.00.

I have written three books that all serve a specific purpose when it comes to those new to the sport of triathlon or those who perhaps have the Ironman on their mind.

"Ironstruck...The Ironman Triathlon Journey" is a perfect book for those who have the Ironman on their mind and perhaps need some motivation, inspiration, and encouragement to help them make that final decision to challenge the Ironman and make it to the finish line.

"Ironstruck? 500 Ironman Triathlon Questions and Answers" is most like the only Q+A book in the world on the subject of triathlon in general and the Ironman.

This is the perfect book for the triathlete who has decided to take on the Ironman for the first time, or perhaps has done one or two and would like some insight from a different point of view.

It is a great companion book for "Ironstruck...The Ironman Journey" and the pair of books would make a great gift.

"Triathlete in Transition" is a book that was inspired by all the people who would stop by at my Ironstruck book signings and suggest I write a book for the very beginner triathlete who just wanted to know more about the sport.

I suppose because I had this passion for the Ironman that it seemed natural to write about it first almost six years ago now.

So in effect I have gone from the most difficult and challenging of triathlons and ended up at the beginning of the triathlon journey.

Regardless, now I have three books that cover the full range of triathlon from just learning about triathlon in general, to ultimately reaching the Ironman finish line.

Triathlete in transition is full of information about how to get started in the sport and like my Ironstruck books, are inspirational and motivational as well as full of practical advice on triathlon that make the sport much more enjoyable.
