TRIATHLON LOG TO RECORD TRAINING and scheduling and benefits of recording rest days
An uncomplicated triathlon log for your training that helps you keep track of your race preparations can come in handy.
I remember how difficult it was when I was training year after year and never able to find an easy-to-use, uncomplicated training log.Well, I have published one that it is available now. Each page of the log includes one full week from Monday to Sunday. rather than pre-date each day, I put a spot in at the top of the page for you to enter the week-ending date. By not pre-dating the days of the week, it means you can start and stop using the log at any time of year without having to scratch out dates and write in new ones. Also, I have included 70 pages, which means you have '70 weeks' worth of training space in the book. You can record swim, bike, run, and I also included a section for weights, yoga or stretching. Each day of the week also includes a comment line for anything you might want to make a note of for that particular day. At the bottom of each page is several lines where you can enter in comments for the week. Don't forget to schedule your rest days and it might not hurt to record how you spend those days. Some off days from training have a way of really picking a person up if it is spend relaxing properly and giving your body time to recover. If your off days from training are stressful for other reasons like work or family, be sure to record it in the comments section and you may see a pattern develop and in the process discover the best way to spend your non-training days.
