WEIGHT TRAINING AT HOME...no waiting for equipment, play your own music and much more

Weight training at home is a great option when it's not possible to make it out to the local fitness club on a regular basis.

Weight training at home can work well for some people. Of course there are many people who consider their trips to the gym for their weight training sessions part of their social life.

They get to meet other people who share their same passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

However, working out at home can be a great option for those who are more concerned with concentrating on their training regimen and are not into it for the social aspects that come with making use of a public facility. If that's the case, weight-training at home might be the best choice.

There are many benefits to weight-training at home as opposed to making use of a public facility.

PLAY YOUR OWN MUSIC

If you like to have some music in the background, you can play whatever you want without having to put up with whatever music(if any) your gym might decide to have playing in the background. There is also no risk of offending anyone with your choice of workout music.

NO WAITING IN LINE FOR EQUIPMENT

You can take all the time you want or need when you are weight training at home and you have your own equipment. Often fitness centers will post time limits on weight stations so one person cannot monopolize them.

It makes sense that they would do this as people are paying good money to use the facility and the equipment that is in it.

If you are training at home with your own equipment you will never have to wait in line if the weight room happens to be especially busy. weight-training-at-home

This can be very important as often people have only a limited time that they can spend working out because of other commitments.

It can be very frustrating to have to spend too much time waiting for a certain weight station to become free.

ACCESS TO YOUR OWN SPECIAL FOOD OR DRINK

In the event that a person prefers a special food or drink as part of their work-out routine, they have all the necessary conveniences in their home.

A refrigerator and a blender can come in very handy and these are conveniences you will not find in any fitness center.

YOUR OWN BATHROOM AND SHOWER FACILITIES

You will also have the availability of your own washroom and shower whenever you require them. You don't have to worry about forgetting to bring a towel or leaving the shampoo behind. Also it's great to have a little privacy.

WEAR WHAT YOU WANTweight-training-at-home

Maybe you prefer to workout wearing your favorite gear that might not necessarily be up to gym standards. If you are weight training at home, you can choose to wear anything you like and their are no rules and regulations to worry about.

Most of all, you are guaranteed to have a quality workout on a regular basis as most gyms have many distractions that can affect your workout and perhaps not allow you to get the most out of it.

These might seem like small issues, but when they are all combined they can make your home weight workouts much more efficient and pleasant.

If you enjoy using a book "reader" then visit Kobo Books and you will find all my books available at excellent download prices.

I have written three books that all serve a specific purpose when it comes to those new to the sport of triathlon or those who perhaps have the Ironman on their mind.

"Ironstruck...The Ironman Triathlon Journey" is a perfect book for those who have the Ironman on their mind and perhaps need some motivation, inspiration, and encouragement to help them make that final decision to challenge the Ironman and make it to the finish line.

"Ironstruck? 500 Ironman Triathlon Questions and Answers" is most like the only Q+A book in the world on the subject of triathlon in general and the Ironman.

This is the perfect book for the triathlete who has decided to take on the Ironman for the first time, or perhaps has done one or two and would like some insight from a different point of view.

It is a great companion book for "Ironstruck...The Ironman Journey" and the pair of books would make a great gift.

"Triathlete in Transition" is a book that was inspired by all the people who would stop by at my Ironstruck book signings and suggest I write a book for the very beginner triathlete who just wanted to know more about the sport.

I suppose because I had this passion for the Ironman that it seemed natural to write about it first almost six years ago now.

So in effect I have gone from the most difficult and challenging of triathlons and ended up at the beginning of the triathlon journey.

Triathlete in transition is full of information about how to get started in the sport and like my Ironstruck books, are inspirational and motivational as well as full of practical advice on triathlon that make the sport much more enjoyable.

Regardless, now I have three books that cover the full range of triathlon from just learning about triathlon in general, to ultimately reaching the Ironman finish line.
